B6

Vitamin
B12

This is another key B vitamin every woman needs in her system whilst dieting – and for more than just fat burning. Vitamin B12 works alongside B6 to help keep your metabolic processes ticking along nicely, and has been linked to reduced weight gain over a ten year period [1].

However, we’ve added this ingredient for another, very important reason. Every woman knows what it’s like to be ‘hangry’ on a diet. It’s that feeling where you’re tired, angry and, most importantly, you want to give up.

Vitamin
D3

Also known as the ‘sunshine’ vitamin, D3 is a potent ingredient when it comes to both weight loss and maintaining female health. According to a review of vitamin D3 studies, almost half the population of the world are deficient in the nutrient [1].

In the same review, scientists found a correlation between low D3 levels and obesity [1]. When the vitamin was at optimal levels, they identified a link to leaner body compositions.

Other studies support these findings too. A 2014 study found that women who enjoyed healthy levels of D3 alongside diet and exercise lost more weight than those who didn’t supplement with the vitamin [2].

More D3 equals less fat – we had to make this vitamin part of our formula. And with so many of us deficient in the nutrient, we couldn’t afford to leave it out.

Glucomannan

One study found that 50% of women in America crave chocolate at the onset of the menstrual cycle [1]. So many of us feel the pull of the sugary treats when Mother Nature visits, and these cravings can often mean the end of an otherwise amazing dieting effort.

Green Tea Extract

Guarana

This is the unsung heroine of the Hourglass Fit formula.

Guarana is rich in antioxidants, including the catechins that make green tea such a powerful fat burner [1] – which allows the two to complement each other beautifully.

Chromium®

This trace nutrient has been added to the Hourglass Fit formula to further support the weight loss journey of women.

When compared to a placebo, Chromium has been shown to reduce food intake and cravings, too [1]. We’ve got a couple of ingredients like this in the formula. However, this one is special.
